Advice from Royal Mail on post and parcel deliveries

    For all post and deliveries

To help keep all those delivering post and parcels and their recipients safe, Royal Mail have advised they will not be handing over handheld devices for people to log their signatures.

Instead, the post man or woman will log the name of the person accepting the item.

This will be applicable to all items requiring a signature.

For parcels which won't fit through the door, or for those houses where the members are self isolating, the delivery person will instead knock on the door and then step aside to a safe distance whilst the item is retrieved.
