Reliving music festivals from the past
Lock down restrictions might have cancelled many of the usual summer festivals, but Steve G and Sounds Interesting have a way to bring the festivals to you this month.
The show will be reliving some of the music and interviews from the past few years, kicking off with interviews from Richard Digance, Kevin Dempsey, Ric Sanders, Gerry Fletcher, Judy Dyble, Andy Roberts and Simon Care on June 4th.
Then on the 11th, the show will feature interviews from the audience at Concert for The King, as well as Adam Ford, Me and The Moon, Luke Sherry, Panch and the Covers Band.
The third show of the month, airing on June 18th, includes interviews from Peter Knight, Doug Mortimer, Spencer Cozens, Merry Hell, Jez Lowe, Devil Dan's String Band, Johnny Jones and Reg Murross.
Thursday June 25th brings the month to a close with interviews from Jo Broughton, Flosie, IOTA, P.J. Wright, Nancy Kerr, The Filthy Six, Bell Street Band and Baraka.
The shows will all feature music from the artists listed, along with additional music which they have been involved with, which might throw up a few surprises along the way!
So stay home, stay safe and enjoy some festival sounds from the comfort of home with Steve G on Sounds Interesting, airing every Thursday, 7 til 9 PM.
